My Footwear Evolution.

Triathlon Training
6K running / 30 minute bike

I love high heels. Not prostitute high, although one time I did have a pair of shoes that a prostitute complimented me on, but gimme a little two inches of lift and I'm happy. Even though my job doesn't require it at all - because editors are notorious fashion slouches - I wear heels to work almost everyday. Maybe it's because I dress like a janitor on the weekends (because I am one). Or maybe it's because I worked from home for many years and never changed out of my pajamas. I don't know. In any case, I love my heels.

But this weekend I bought a new pair of shoes that might shatter my heels-at-work ethic: a pair of Vibram Minimus sneaks. And oh how I love them.

In other news...

I have yet another exciting update about distance swimmers Elaine K. Howley and Jerome Leslie, who both completed a death defying 41 degree swim in the Boston Harbor this past December. They have both been accepted for membership in the elite International Ice Swimming Association!

Here's the link to the Facebook page announcement. Yay for them!

And one more thing: the Cup of G Facebook page is up and running. So if you want to stop on in, I'll be posting updates there. Thanks and have a great week!

  1. Thanks for the shout out! Psyched to be officially "in the club." Now if I can just get my hands on that red jacket, all will be right with the world!
